Good old fashioned greasy spoon.... without the grease! Nothing fancy, just your straight up full English, drinks included, all for a fraction of your trendy cafes.

Lovely staff and some very interesting fellow customers / fellow diners. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of this place, and felt very comfortable here. I paid around £6.00 for a Full English Breakfast, with a mug of coffee and was very happy with everything. Cafes like this, with this kind of a friendly atmosphere, I feel are few and far between nowadays. Thank-you! :)

Great little cafe with very friendly service and good food. Very reasonable prices and very clean. They were happy to swap items from the menu to suit. I would have given 5 stars if the bacon was a cooked a little more.

Great little find...The 2 Maria's will take care of your every need. You've got the Spicy Spanish Chorizo Maria (SSCM) out the back and head chef Saucy Scouse Maria (SSM) I had the Jumbo breakfast:- 2 x eggs (cooked to perfection, no frilly skirts - if you know, you know 2.5 bacon (don't ask - where does the other half go...LOL) 2 x sausage 2 x black pudding (really nice) Beans Tom's Toast Tea or coffee (good strong filter) I will be back again, especially if Maria can get me some Yorkshire tea bags for a proper brew. 15/10, keep smiling ladies.

My Mum has been in today with my little girl (4yrs old) as a treat for lunch. Years ago, when i was that age, Mum would take me on occasion and it sounds like it's still a lovely place. Mum was pleased with the size of even the child portions and my little girl was made to feel special by the lady serving them which has made my day. Great atmosphere, value for money and family friendly.

People should know this cafe serves quality food at affordable prices, food is all homemade and in most instances cooked fresh to plate, I'm not sure if it's a hidden secret but on personal experience I doubt you'll get a better breakfast or lunch on the Wirral.
